Easter Sunday Traditions & More

In honor of Easter Sunday, I thought it would be fun to discuss Easter outfits and traditions. The weather on Easter is always hit and miss…and although it was supposed to rain today, we fortunate to have some sunny (but cool) weather. Anyway, enough about that, let's dive into what Easter looks like at our household.

Every year on Easter, the Frye family has had the same routine: wake up, check Easter baskets, egg hunt, and then head out to 11 a.m. church. This year looked different. Instead of having an egg hunt, we relaxed and enjoyed the morning together. Coleman came over from his house and rode with us to church, since he doesn’t live under the same roof as the rest of us anymore. We then went to church and enjoyed seeing everyone, and had lunch at my aunt’s house. After lunch, food coma. The house was quiet and everyone was asleep. Then, my dad’s side of the fam joined us for dinner at our house. Easter is one of my favorite holidays because of all the fresh flowers blooming, and I love the arrangements all around the house.

Along with our different routine, I had the honor of helping with multiple different flower arrangements this Easter break. Over this spring semester, I have been taking a flower care class, and it is a lot harder than you think, but I will say, I can successfully make a flower arrangement on my own. I went to the church, and helped my grandmother with the flower arrangements there. I also made arrangements for our house. I am definitely not a pro, but I did better than I expected.

One of my favorite parts about the spring and Easter season, is SPRING FASHION. I will say, I typically like neutral color outfits, but thanks to Lacy’s influence, I have been on the colorful fashion trend. This spring I have been into pinks, blues, and oranges. I have been loving a flowy top paired with jeans or jean shorts. And, nothing beats a cute spring dress. Some of my favorite pairings of Easter fits are posted on my Instagram, along with the places you can find them.

Hope y'all had the BEST Easter Sunday. He has risen and may y'all have a blessed week. Thank you for reading today’s blog. Come back Tuesday for more!
